La Meta Sporting Rooms in Alghero was a pleasant surprise for our romantic escape. Situated just across the street from the stunning Maria Pia sandy beach, the location couldn't have been more convenient. The staff were incredibly helpful, providing us with maps and recommendations for local bars and restaurants. The room was basic but clean, with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom with a shower. The hotel even offers free Wi-Fi throughout the property, which was a nice bonus.One of the highlights of our stay was the proximity to the beach, just a two-minute walk away. We were also impressed by the spacious parking area available, making it easy for us to explore the surrounding areas by car. The air conditioning in our room worked silently, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep.Breakfast was served in the neighboring clubhouse, and while it wasn't the most elaborate spread, it was sufficient to start our day.
